Join choreographer and educator Kati Hernandez for this special workshop on techniques in handling the skirt to Afro-Cuban rhythms. With a tempo and rhythm of their own, our skirts create imagery, enhance body language, and convey messages that enrich these traditional dances. Kati will be breaking down sways, motions, and gestures of the skirt, intertwined with the coordination of the shoulders, arms, and upper body movements.
